The ACS Story

The heart of Alabama Contract Sales, Inc. (ACS) started with our great founder Pete B. Turnham in 1967. Pete grew up in Chambers County, Alabama, and later attended and graduated from Alabama Polytechnic Institute, which was renamed Auburn University. After graduation, Pete became a decorated World War II combat veteran serving as a platoon leader under General Patton. Pete was a man of honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness. He not only lived by these values, but instilled them in those around him and in every project he took on. These are what drove him when founding ACS and what made the business so successful. ACS still honors our history by working and integrating these values into our work, each and every day.

Since our humble beginnings and through careful guidance, ACS has grown to be one of the most well respected companies within our industry.
